MAINFRAME ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION : 

Responsibilities:

·       Proactive batch monitoring

·       L1 Troubleshooting

·       Triage with Developers, infra and as needed teams to resolve job failures.

·       Problem Management to resolve recurring QA mainframe job failures.

·       Status reporting.

 

Skills:

·       2-3 years of relevant experience required on the desired field.

·       Proficient knowledge of COBOL, JCL, DB2 and CICS, VSAM.

·       Working knowledge on MQ and Kafka.

·       Good knowledge on Mainframe OPCC scheduler.

·       Distributed Autosys added advantage.

·       Excellent communication and email writing skills.
