Job Description:

 

  • Excellent understanding of System z architecture and strong experience with IBM z/OS operating system.
  • Performance tuning & Development of operational procedures
  • Experience with IBM and OEM utilities, catalog management, Rexx, RMF, SMF, SAS, MXG, HMC, JES2, DFSMS, FlashcopyKnowledge of Coupling facility support, High Availability and Automation
  • Experience/knowledge of parallel sysplex (GDPS), IBM system utilities
  • Experience managing incidents on z/OS related issues, with emphasis on performance and tuning
  • Ability to work and cross-team with members across the Mainframe Engineering team
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software product suite
  • On-call rotation / weekend work required
