Job Description:
- Client is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer that will provide complex technical analysis and support of mainframe security in a large, complex Multi-LPAR RACF environment utilizing RRSF (RACF Remote Sharing Facility), zSecure, RACF/DB2 and CICS.
In this contingent resource assignment, candidate may:
- Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Engineering deliverables.
- Review and analyze moderately complex Information Security Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Information Security Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with client personnel in Information Security Engineering.
Required Qualifications:
- 4 plus years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Required:
- 5 plus years of Information Security Engineering experience
- 5 plus years of mainframe security risk assessment and remediation experience
- 5 plus years of hands-on Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) experience with at least current and supported version (z/OS 2.1 and above)
- 5 plus years of mainframe security experience using native z/OS and Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) tools
- 5 plus years of experience issuing Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) commands and performing diagnosis
Desired Qualifications:
- 5 plus years of JCL (Job Control Language) experience
- 5 plus years of TSO (Time Sharing Option
- zSecure tool experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
