Mandatory Skills: JCL, Cobol, DB2, CICS, VSAM
Looking for a Mainframe Technical Lead with excellent debugging, troubleshooting and communication skills in enterprise-grade applications. Mainframe support roles and responsibilities include managing Mainframe application debug and monitoring.
Responsibilities:
· Open to work in 24X7 shift
· Co-ordination with customer team & Service Delivery Manager and ensure there are no escalations
· Provide the required technical guidance to the team and help them in resolving complex issues
· Adherence to agreed SLA and KPI
· Mainframe Support responsibilities include debugging, troubleshooting and developing a solution.
· Analyse historical incidents and prepare SOPs / Knowledge articles
· Application Monitoring & Operational activities
· Understand the code flow and application functions
· Should be an excellent team player and should be able to take responsibility for the ticket·
Essential competencies
· Exposure to Application Support & Maintenance
· Good understanding of JCL, Cobol, DB2, CICS and VSAM
· Good understanding of CA7 and Abend-Aid
· Exposure to ITSM tools like ServiceNow
· Good understanding of ITIL
· Capital Markets domain knowledge will be an added advantage.
