Manual QA Tester

Must have:

• Preferable someone with Banking, Financial domain Client experience.
• A minimum of three years of experience in quality assurance
• Experience working with Excel
• Experience working with SQLExperience working with JIRA
• Experience working with SQL
• Experience working with banking, lending or accounting applications is required
• Experience working with business and developers at both functional and technical level
• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Finance or Accounting

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Work with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Design, develop and execute test scripts
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products or enhancements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Understands software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case development, test case deployment and execution, test data, defect tracking, and test automation; actively participates in process improvements
• Recognizes issues (e.g. with requirements, design, implementation, etc.) and works with appropriate resources to address and resolve
