Manual Tester

Key Responsibilities

Perform manual testing activities focused on SAP ECC systems for Electric and Gas operations, including field order management, maintenance, and construction.
Create, execute, and manage test cases using ADO Test Plan, HP ALM, or similar tools.
Test mobile applications on iOS devices (iPhone and iPad) to ensure proper functionality, usability, and integration with back-end systems.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (onshore/offshore) in an Agile or Hybrid Agile environment using Azure DevOps or JIRA.
Collaborate with field operations teams to validate field work order creation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to business processes.
Identify, document, and track defects in both SAP ECC and mobile applications, ensuring timely resolution and re-testing.
Provide support for test planning, test execution, defect management, and reporting for utilities sector field operations.
Coordinate with both offshore and onsite teams to manage testing timelines and deliverables.
Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word) for documentation, reporting, and analysis of testing activities.
Maintain a high level of communication with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and operational teams.
Work on field tools such as ClickSoftware, supporting the end-to-end testing of field work order management systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience with SAP ECC: Strong understanding of field order creation and management for Electric and Gas operations, including maintenance and construction workflows.
Testing Tools Expertise: Proficiency in ADO Test Plan, HP ALM, or equivalent test management tools.
Mobile Application Testing: Experience in testing iOS applications on devices such as iPhones and iPads.
Agile/Hybrid Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments, particularly in projects managed through Azure DevOps or JIRA.
Field Work Order Management: Prior experience in testing field work order management systems in the utilities industry (Electric/Gas).
Microsoft Office Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation, reporting, and analysis.
Field Tools: Experience with tools such as ClickSoftware is a plus.
Collaboration in Offshore-Onsite Models: Demonstrated experience coordinating between offshore and onsite teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and timely delivery.
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality test results.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in the utilities sector with a focus on Electric and Gas operations.
Knowledge of ClickSoftware or other field operations tools.
Experience with iOS testing tools for mobile applications.
ISTQB or other relevant certification in manual testing or quality assurance.
