Job Description:
Experience Desired: 5+ Years.
Qualification:
Provide technical support and documentation design, develop, and evaluate the operation of marine vessels, ship machinery, and related equipment, to include, but not limited to: auxiliary systems, hydraulics weight handling equipment, rudders, and apply to applicable design and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop system documentation and ship specifications.
- Conduct analyses propulsion systems and types, marine auxiliary piping systems, lead development of technical data packages and reviews.
- Conduct trade studies regarding ship configuration.
- Support Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) with shipyards.
- Communicate and participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and working groups with other USCG and Navy entities
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Naval Architecture & Maritime Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- 05-10+ years of experience in Maine Engineer.
