Develops 10 to 12 weeks out workload versus capacity comparison for all work centers to help level load production and estimate labor requirements.
Establishes goals and plans for production Manufacturing, Assembly & Test, Marking, and Cleaning to meet customer delivery requirements.
Analyzes sales order releases for capacity planning and material requirements.
Works with machine shop manager regarding scheduling of such to meet part availability requirements.
Works with the production and shipping supervisor to resolve any issues regarding scheduling.
Maintains and updates shortage and backorder reports and other related reports as required.
Interacts with manufacturing personnel and management daily to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or additional information requested from Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Accounting.
Requirements:
Degree highly preferred
5+ years minimum experience in a manufacturing planner/scheduler role
Optics or highly precise product line experience is a huge plus
Technical Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Products
