Description

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the engine sub-system related algorithms and develop calibrations for customer.
  • Develop control systems calibrations for engine sub-system.
  • This includes calibration development using tools like Calterm, CalbertNG, CDM, PowerMatch, RDE.
  • Other tools used for development will include the use of MATLAB Simulink, C2ST and build tool, configuration management tools (PTC Windchill) as well as test tools (LUIS, INSITE, PCAN Explorer, oscilloscopes).
  • Test the developed calibration in open and closed loop test benches for different ECMs.
  • Support calibration validation activities in test cells, engine plants, field tests, OEM installations.
  • Develop test or field calibrations and support field issues.
  • Perform the vehicle level system validation of the developed Engine and Powergen features on vehicles.
  • Work with the cross-functional team and report the issues observed during the bench and vehicle level testing.
  • Brainstorm and address the critical and high-priority issues/queries reported from field and OEMs locations.
  • Perform the Fault Tree Analysis to identify the root cause.
  • Responsible for Knowledge sharing, Training, Release management and Technical issues clarification.
  • Risk Management like analyzing, documenting and monitoring the risks.
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a dynamic team environment.
  • Review development and validation artifacts with customer time to time.
  • Achieving first time right and seeking maximum clarity from customer as well as team.
  • Interaction with cross functional teams to gather necessary information.
  • Time management to complete work in time.
  • Meeting customer’s expectations and assertively negotiate where required for time or efforts.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience with bachelors or master’s in Electronics, Electrical or Computer engineering or related field.
  • Expert in MATLAB, Simulink.
  • Knowledge of Tools like LUIS, PCAN Explorer, oscilloscopes will be a plus.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work with global delivery, architecture team.
  • Problem solving and debugging skills.
  • Self-motivated and passion for leading-edge technologies.
