Responsibilities:
Play a critical role in managing and optimizing our organization's Master Data Assets.
Responsible for developing and implementing MDM strategies, processes, and solutions to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our data across various systems and platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and objectives related to master data management.
Design, develop, and implement MDM solutions and frameworks tailored to the specific needs of the organization.
Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to maintain data quality and compliance.
Lead data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment initiatives to enhance the accuracy and completeness of master data.
Configure and maintain MDM tools and platforms, ensuring optimal performance and usability.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders on MDM-related issues, challenges, and opportunities.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor the health and effectiveness of MDM processes and controls.
Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies in the field of master data management.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate MDM solutions with existing systems and applications.
Act as a subject matter expert and advocate for MDM best practices within the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ information systems or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in master data management, data governance, or related roles.
In-depth knowledge of MDM concepts, methodologies, and technologies (e.g., Informatica MDM, IBM Infosphere MDM, SAP MDG).
Strong understanding of data modeling, data quality, and data integration principles.
Proficiency in SQL, XML, JSON, and other data manipulation languages and formats.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
