Job responsibilities
Driving cross-functional execution of multi-departmental efforts from requirements to delivery.
Ensuring that a project delivers on time with high quality, within budget, and in accordance with stated
business and technical objectives.
Holding team members accountable for their commitments, milestones, resources, and deliverables
and ensuring that these are met.
Escalation of issues, missed milestones or other interruptions to planned activities
Anticipating, proactively identifying, documenting and managing key program risks and resource
constraints, proposing appropriate mitigation and contingency plans across multiple programs.
Documenting and communicating objectives, plans, status, issues and risks in a timely manner to team
members, stakeholders and senior management.
o Create Project Plans
o Conduct Steering Committee Meetings with Executive Team
o Create Project Documentation including but not limited to: Project Charter/Scope, RACI,
Communication Matrix, Team Directory, Status Reports
o Communicate risks, open issues and escalate those that will impact the project – timeline,
financials, resources
Qualifications:
Bachelor 's degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent hands on experience.
PMP certification is strongly preferred.
5 plus years in managing multi-departmental IT solutions
Strong communication, leadership, and organization skills required
Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status and results clearly, focusing on critical few key points.
Solutions orientated, with a track record of identifying and implementing creative solutions.
Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
Excellent leadership and team building skills. Presence, demonstrated ability to work in a matrix
environment, and ability to influence at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across organizations in delivering the best outcome
of complex programs.
Strong experience with Smartsheet, MS Project or other Project Plan software
Ability to manage multiple and oft-changing priorities simultaneously.
Retail experience preferred
Experience in managing retail ERP implementations or migrations to a new retail ERP system.
Experience in managing projects with a heavy involvement by software developers.
Experience in delivering difficult messages in a professional manner to project team member and stakeholders regardless of their title
