The client is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to support the construction of the new ground up Semi truck manufacturing facility that requires exceptional talent. The position is in Sparks, NV.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and manage a high performing team to plan, execute and turn over Mechanical systems.
  • Specific proven expertise and experience in the areas of: Process Piping; Wet and Dry Mechanical systems; wastewater, domestic water and other mechanical systems associated with manufacturing facilities.
  • Develop execution plans to ensure cost and schedule expectations are achieved.
  • Develop funding requests for new projects.
  • Perform constructability reviews during design development to ensure engineering documents meet project needs.
  • Quickly respond to queries and drive timely technical resolutions.
  • Work with the Procurement team to create biddable work packages and verify contractor proposals against cost/schedule estimates.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree (MS preferred) or related 10+ years field experience
  • Experience as a Project or Construction Manager on $100M+ industrial or commercial construction projects.
  • Experience managing Mechanical work.
  • Extensive knowledge of the ASTM / ASME
  • Ability to develop a cost loaded schedule and track performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite products, Bluebeam and PlanGrid.
