Job Description:
As a Mechanical Drafter , you will play a crucial role in creating and modifying 3D models and engineering drawings, ensuring alignment with engineering standards and specifications for manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting designs, collaborating with engineers, and meeting project deadlines. Effective communication with the team lead is essential for daily updates and addressing any encountered issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and modify 3D models and engineering drawings adhering to engineering standards.
Ensure engineering change documentation complies with specified standards.
Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot designs and meet project requirements.
Communicate regularly with the team lead regarding project status, delays, and challenges.
Complete projects within specified timelines to meet customer due dates.
Qualifications:
2-year technical school degree in computer-aided drafting or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in 3D parametric modeling and drafting software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, or Creo).
Strong print reading skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products ().
Desired Skills:Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, SharePoint
Proficiency in Creo Parametric modeling software.
Experience in manufacturing print reading.
Hands-on experience in machining, welding, or automotive fields
