Mechanical Engineer 4

Job Description:

• Receive technical requirements from sales team, create concept drawings and technical submittals.
• Create detailed designs in Creo, work with off-shore team to detail part and group level drawings.
• Create BOM for entry into factory systems for procurement and manufacturing execution.
• Create site installation guides for dealers and contractors.

Technical Skills:

• Creo 3D modeling software
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in engine or genset mechanical design, enclosure mechanical design, engine or genset cooling or structural development
• Teamcenter, systems, AutoCad

Soft Skills:

• Good communication (written and oral), interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Time and project management
• Proven leadership skills
• Customer facing experience through engineering, sales or support functions
• Ability to manage multiple programs and break down roadblocks to meet program objectives.

Education & Experience Required:

• 8 to 13 years of relevant packaging experience with diesel and gas power engine/generator sets
• BA required
• No 2 year degree’s
• Master’s needs to be within the 8+ years
• Internships etc not counted as experience (long term 1 year + internships will be considered)
