Mechatronics/Electro-Mechanical Lead Engineer

Job Description

Broad ownership of hardware design and manufacturing of systems, fixtures and prototypes in support of product development and validation teams

Develop specifications and project plans to execute designs by working closely with product designers and/or cross functional teams to incorporate all requirements into specifications

Act as both team lead and individual contributor to conduct detailed design work, create 3D models, drawings and drive design reviews

Technical Requirements

Fluent in NX and advanced surfacing techniques

Expertise in various manufacturing techniques such as injection molding, sheet metal stamping, forging, die casting etc

Strong understanding of product life cycle management (especially early stage development and production and launch)

Minimum Qualification

Strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel

Experience in technical documentation and report generation

Expected to write technical reports and present at technical reviews
