Messaging DNS engineer

Title – Messaging DNS engineer
Location: Remote – EST zone
ContractJob Description:
5+ years experience managing an enterprise Exchange environment.
·       5+ years experience managing external DNS and Microsoft DNS in an enterprise.
 
Requirements: 
·       Ability and willingness to work in a 24*7*365 environment
·       Excellent communication skills
·       Ability to lead when required and provide guidance on project engagements
·       Enterprise Exchange system engineering experience (Exchange 2019 / Exchange Online)
·       Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
·       Scripting experience:  Powershell, Python, RESTful API
·       Experience using a helpdesk or IT incident management software (Service Now)
·       Excellent knowledge of DNS, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory
·       Customer focused on timely issue resolution in a team oriented environment
·       Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
·       Strong critical thinking / problem-solving, and the ability to debug complex-cross systems problems, and document root cause including remediation.
·       Experience in change and incident management
·       Experience with testing and deployment of automation tools
·       General knowledge of software development practices
·       Understanding of IP networking and network architecture
·       Experience in Microsoft Active Directory DNS and Sites and Services
·       Experience managing cloud based DNS:  Cloudflare and Route 53
·       Scripting and automation based on Cloudflare API
·       Knowledge of HTTP, TLS, and CDN standards and technology
·       Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite of products and links to Exchange Online
·       Working knowledge of MDM solutions (Intune)
