We are looking for a dynamic Sales Representative for Ohio & Western Pennsylvania.

Candidate must live in OH, PA, or North Kentucky, or relocate to this area. No relocation assistance is provided.

Experience in sales or manufacturing for the metalworking industry is a must. Experience with metalworking lubricants, coolants, and oils is highly desired.

Account management of the current customer base of industrial manufacturers. Business Development is required to obtain new customers. Desired experience in the following: cutting tool manufacturing, metalworking fluids, metal forming, precision machining & grinding. Ability to sell high-quality, high-performance products based on results. Consultative sales methods required. Understanding and application of manufacturing disciplines: machining, grinding, turning, metal stamping, programming, fluid dynamics, filtration, machine tools, and metallurgy.

Job Duties

Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company product(s)/service(s).

Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms.

Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.

Overcome objections of prospective customers.

Generate and develop new customer accounts by cold-calling if necessary.

Ensure timely follow-up. Maintain CRM system with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, and so on.

Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.

Periodically conduct information-only presentations, such as seminars and trade show demonstrations.

Make front-line assessments of market conditions and advise company management and marketing staff of findings.

Build and maintain ongoing awareness of competitor activities and products.

Participates in trade shows.

Forecast and prepare sales goals for management on a yearly basis

Estimated overnight travel 30% to 50%
