Job Description:
Windows infrastructure engineer - strong Azure experience, Entro, VMs, on prem Active Directory, group policy. This is less about supporting running applications more about Entra and Intune for software deployments.
Linux Engineer - deep knowledge of AWS services. Client mentioned that there seems to be a lot of folks with a DevOps background that are going to have this skillset. This isn’t a DevOps role but that's the type of a profile that would be very interesting to the client. Ansible is important for this role.
The candidates will also support the project work, and some examples are listed below:
Deploying Infoblox, high performance HPC upgrades, migrating from AFS to its commercialized version (AuriStor), Windows expansion of security video system, switching MDR service, modernizing printing system (Windows), penetration testing.
Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer /w strong Azure experience
- Windows management technologies, Active Directory, Group policy, Domain controller management, server management, workstation management
- Powershell scripting for basic automation
- Azure services, Entra, Intune, Single Sign-on
- Experience with M365/O365 support and configuration
- Good to have: ManageEngine Endpoint Central, VMware vSphere, Box.com cloud storage
- Soft skills to include: Team player, Good communication, problem solving, time management and empathy.
Linux Infrastructure Engineer /w Strong AWS Cloud experience
- Linux server systems administration
- RedHat Enterprise Linux
- Strong experience in AWS IaaS, EC2 deployment, S3
- Configuration management with Ansible
- Good to have: Splunk, VMware vSphere, Git, NetApp
- Soft skills to include: Team player, Good communication, problem solving, time management and empathy.
