A Power Solution Architect is responsible for the successful design, implementation, deployment, and adoption of an overall solution. A Solution Architect ensures that the technical solution meets the business use case needs now and in the future. While the Solution Architect may not "click the buttons" during a deployment, they are ultimately responsible for the solution and work closely with the business and their technology team. This role requires understanding how decisions ect the overall solution. Candidates should have knowledge and experience of the Dynamics 365 customer apps ecosystem and Microsoft Power Platform. In addition, they have extensive domain knowledge in Finance industry verticals. The ideal candidate should be able to facilitate solution design decisions across development, configuration, integration, infrastructure, security, licensing, availability, storage, and change management. In this role, you balance project's business needs while meeting functional and non-functional requirements. - Architect solutions (20-25%) - Define technology solution strategies (35-40%) - Define Patterns (20-25%) - Remain Engaged in large projects (10-15%) Job Responsibilities - Liaise with business users across locations to understand business requirements as a technical resource to help field questions on possible Power platform based technical solutions - Perform solution envisioning and requirement analyses considering the business use case needs and then developing those needs into a concept of a proposed technical solution. - A Solution architect assumes the role of reviewer to ensure that the designs fit within the desired architecture, and in alignment with best practices for Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 - Learn about the business current application architecture, and their desired outcomes and to independently generate ideas on how to approach a solution for that use case. - Have a deep awareness of the different pre-built patterns and available integrations that can be combined to highlight a proposed solution. - The solution architect might not be the one building the POC/demo, the role will be indispensable in helping to envision and craft what the POC or demo will highlight. - Ability to communicate with all levels of a customer's organization. The role effectively should translate technical topics into a more business focused discussion. - As a solution architect avoid scope creep while at the same time allowing technical changes that are essential to meeting the business success criteria - Instrumental in problem solving because the challenges will often span multiple teams and as one of the few who understands all the moving parts across teams. - Have a grasp of the implications of Microsoft Power licensing for the proposed solutions, and at times require to architect within the license constraints. - Conduct weekly Office hours from a Platform Adoption perspective. Required Skills - Minimum 8-15 years of experience in architecting Microsoft Power solutions - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 - Related Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies - Ability to take ownership - Knowledge of Pega and UiPath - Demonstrated experience in all phases of the application "replatforming" management - requirements capture, definition & solution design, architecture design, build, and configuration - Knowledge of Microsoft Power best practices - Excellent written, verbal communication and organizational capabilities. - Ability to communicate effectively and confidently across all levels. Desired Skills: - Demonstrated experience in delivering Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence use cases for Banking/ Finance industry, a plus - General knowledge of process improvement frameworks (Lean, Value Stream Mapping) and or exposure to process management and automation
