Mid Level Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description:

• Embedded engineer with strong C++ experience in the Oil and gas domain
• Fair knowledge of Industrial automation in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in writing code in C++ for industrial network protocol and control systems
• Experience in writing code in C++ for Desktop applications
• Good experience working on VS Studio
• Good experience with the Git code management platform
• Evaluate & document requests for system improvements
• Organize and document software requirements, develop implementation plans, implement code, participate in code reviews, and assist in hardware-level system testing and documentation
• Ability to work independently
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to analyze the problem and provide solutions during troubleshooting situations
• Help create Engineering work processes

Qualification:

• B.S. in Mechatronics, Electrical, Controls and/or Electronics Engineering/Technology, or related field from an ABET accredited program.
