Mongo db DBA

Job description :
Required :
•    Overall 10 – 12 years of DBA experience , with a blend of database experience with MongoDB, SQL Server, Cassandra, etc.
•    Experience architecting and maintaining complex relational databases including MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL
•    Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and communications skills to handle critical circumstances exceptionally
•    Automating NoSQL day-to-day operational activities (security, index maintenance, backups, disaster recovery, and installation)
•    Experience in designing, deploying, and supporting multiple database platform solutions in a multi-zone clustered environment
•    Experience in designing and implementing replication, partitioning, and clustering between multiple data centers
•    Working with Python, Shell, and PowerShell scripting; capable of understanding Shell scripts, modifying, and if required writing it
•    Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Jira, Ansible.
•    Experience working with TLS/SSL, Kerberos, and LDAP integration
•    Experience on initial sync and complete recovery of db/coll level.
•    Prior experience of working on replication and sharding setup
•    Experience on Server build , upgrade and migration.
 
Work Responsibilities :
•    create, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot databases ; support  design
•    Use specific RDBMS, develop and implement database recovery mechanisms and procedures, and coordinate security measures to safeguard database integrity
•    Set up and manage MongoDB,  Cassandra
•    Identify database bottlenecks and provide remediation steps as well as implement database backup solutions
•    Design and implement security configuration including grants, roles, and profiles, perform database security monitoring and perform database auditing and implement security standards
•    Design, implement, and test enterprise level disaster recovery solutions and high availability database solutions including clustering
•    Perform database schema change management, control, and execute code deployments to upper database environments and execute database data movement to satisfy ETL, backup/recover
•    Improve database backups and test recoverability regularly.
•    Study the database needs of applications, optimize them using MongoDB
•    Maintain database performance and capacity planning
•    Performance tuning for high throughput.
•    Architecting high availability servers
