MongoDB Developer with REST API Experience

As a MongoDB Developer, you will work in an agile environment that embraces the newest technologies and you will also work closely with other team members, and owners of the data sources to provide qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop MongoDB and API prototypes and proofs of concept
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and build scalable solutions based on specifications
• Implement appropriate indexes (B-Tree, Geospatial, Text) for performance improvement
• Implement Mongo Management Service for automating a variety of tasks and performance management
• Recommend and implement best practices for Rest API integration framework/model
• Implement optimal backup and recovery
• Collate data from heterogeneous databases by performing data analysis and implement data migration solution
• Actively detect performance problems and work closely with DBA, API, ETL development teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience
• MongoDB: 3+ years of demonstrated development expertise in MongoDB platform
• REST API: Design and development experience building a reusable REST API model/framework to consume data from and/or push data into MongoDB (or similar technology)
• Knowledge of modeling/architectural patterns, governance methodologies, and potential limitations within MongoDB
• Detail design experience on enterprise applications specifically Digital technologies experience.
• Rest API experience, Node JS experience 2+ years
