Monitoring Engineer

Must be a U.S. citizen, Green card holder, or EAD and willing to work a 12-month contract to be eligible for this position. Approved states the candidate must live in are CA, FL, MA, MD, MI, MS, NJ, NV, OH, TX. States that could additionally be considered are AZ, CT, GA, NY, UT, VA, WA, and WV. Insight Global is looking for 3 Observability Engineers to join our gaming/casino client remotely in one of their approved states. These Engineers will be joining the team to tackle a multi-year initiative to increase observability between multiple systems and architecture. They will sit under the architecture umbrella of the team to work on hardening, logging and utilization. They will be pushing out software stacks for observability such as Grafana and Datadog tools to allow visibility into various system. They will be tracking how well systems are performing, if there is proper utilization, logging, and see how systems are talking to each other. The goal is to take where the company is today and find the areas they need to shape to become higher performing with higher outputs of data. A main goal is understanding what is going on within their servers/databases. We are looking for someone with excellent communication as well as positive mindset. They should be a life-long learner and someone who is keeping up with trends and new technology throughout the IT industry. Required Skills and Experience * • Experience in software stacks such as Grafana, Datadog, App Dynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic, Splunk, etc... for observability functions. • Experience working on the mobile side with Flutter and Dart • Ability to write code in libraries for observability in Java. • Excellent written and verbal communication. • Cover Letter Nice to Have Skills and Experience • Experience directly working with Grafana and Datadog. • Hospitality or Gaming industry experience. • Past experience in a top tech company. • Multiple degrees and Certifications.
