Description

Responsibilities:

  • Install, upgrade, and patch IBM WebSphere MQ.
  • Configure and administer MQ objects.
  • Create the necessary application-specific infrastructure with channels/queues in the IBM MQ Manager.
  • Monitor application specific queues.
  • Work on incidents / change, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis and provide project support for IBM WebSphere MQ, API Connect 10 and APP connect.
  • Install, upgrade, patch and administer APP Connect, JCA Adapters for SAP interfaces.
  • Use Toolkit (development GUI) to import/export/deploy projects.
  • Manage (Install/Uninstall/Upgrade) TLS Certificates.
  • Install, upgrade and administer API Connect 10.
  • Define Rest and SOAP API.

 

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience with IBM Middleware Products: IBM MQ.  IBM App Connect/Integration Bus.
  • 3+ Years experience working with APIC.
  • Experience in operating system and shell scripting in AIX/Linux.
  • Experience troubleshooting and remediation of defects and error scenarios.
  • Familiar with general security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures) and SSL/TLS.
  • Experience with UC4 and Autosys tools.
  • Familiar with Ticketing tools.
  • Excellent team player.
