SQL Ops DBA

A SQL Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of a database. They are involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users. The DBA ensures that data remains consistent across the database, that it is clearly defined, that users access data concurrently, in a form that suits their needs, and that there is provision for data security and recovery control (all data is retrievable in an emergency).

MS SQL DBA with L2 and L3 skillset,

Excellent knowledge of SQL performance tuning

Very good knowledge of database maintenance tasks like backup/restore

Very good knowledge of corresponding client software connections,

Team player in an international team

Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)

Knowledge/experience working with collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Jira, servicenow, Agile skills)

nice to have  Knowledge of French language (spoken and written) would be a plus

Automation: scrpting, powershell, puppet, Ansible, jenkins, API

Strong proficiency in SQL and database management tools.

good to have Experience with database design, implementation, and management.

Understanding of data security and recovery processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.

nice to have Knowledge of other database systems (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL).
