MSSQL Server Database Admin

Job Description:

• A candidate with 10+ years of relevant experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration in a production environment, Knowledge of database migrations is preferred.
• Years of experience needed –10+ years

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with configuration and advance features of SQL Server 2008, SQL 2012, SQL 2016, SQL 2019
• Handson Experience with database migration and maintenance on AWS.
• Solid skills in database performance tuning, optimizing queries and stored procedures.
• Strong experience with SQL Server clusters with multiple nodes on each cluster, mirroring, logshipping, always-on and other methods of disaster recovery
• Migration of SQL Server databases from one platform to another
• Experience with SSIS packages and SSRS
• Knowledge of SAN, data loading, security, capacity planning, backup and recovery
• Experience in database auditing and financial industry experience is a plus.

Certifications Needed:

• MCSA (Microsoft Certified System Admin – SQL server DBA)/ MCSE will be plus  AND/OR
• AWS certified
