Job Summary 

 

With a strong commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to lead our aftermarket sales team.

 

As the Sales Head for Automotive Aftermarket, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and implementing effective sales strategies at a national level, and managing a high-performing sales team. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence, building strong customer relationships, nurturing key accounts, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Strategic leadership 

 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive strategic planning and decision-making. 

     

Market expansion 

 

  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities for market expansion and penetration across India.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competition. 

     

Process management & Optimization 

 

  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize processes and achieve revenue targets. 

     

Internal and external stakeholder management 

 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Drive a relationship across the internal full value chain of business region with a strong focus on inclusion and strong partnership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Business line, and Manufacturing, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives. 

     

Financial management 

 

  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial performance aligns with organizational goals.
  • Implement financial controls and risk management strategies to safeguard the financial health of the business. 

     

Team Leadership 

 

  • Motivate, recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of professionals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. 

     

Qualifications: 

 

  • MBA & preferably Engineering Graduate.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in developing and executing business strategies that resulted in substantial revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of distribution business, market dynamics and competitor landscapes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
