.NET API Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced .NET API Specialist with over 10 years of expertise to lead the design and development of high-performance APIs. This role is ideal for a professional well-versed in .NET Core, cloud platforms, and microservices, capable of both hands-on development and team leadership. This is an onsite role requiring 4 days per week in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable .NET Core APIs. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and architect robust solutions. Engage in hands-on coding and debugging to ensure reliability and high performance of API components. Mentor and support junior developers, providing technical guidance and expertise. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, with a focus on cloud technology. Develop .NET APIs using C#, with extensive knowledge of SQL queries and database management. Design and implement RESTful APIs with a strong understanding of microservices architecture. Utilize DevOps practices and tools to streamline development and deployment processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience: Proven experience as a .NET/C# Developer with at least 8 years in software development. Extensive hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and .NET Core. Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). Experience with CI/CD pipeline, ASP.NET MVC, Oracle RDBMS, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes. Strong knowledge of software development principles, problem-solving skills, and best practices. Additional Skills: Familiarity with database systems (Oracle RDBMS, etc.). Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
