OVERSITE/CONTRACTOR MONITORING
The Human Service IT Delivery Center (HHSDC), Division of Solutions Management will oversee the work assignment.
INCURRING COSTS
HHSDC are not responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by the service providers in the preparation of their quotes.
RESOURCES
Office space for contractor will be provided by the HHSDC at 2525 North 7th Street
Harrisburg, PA 17110. In addition, the HHSDC will supply all necessary hardware, software, network connection, phone, and fax for daily use as needed to complete assigned work items. Due to the current Global Pandemic the selected resource must be capable of and willing to telework and travel to the official work location as needed.

OBJECTIVES OF ENGAGEMENT
The objective of this engagement is to serve as the Release Manager overseeing application development and support work associated with the Department of Health (DOH), PA-National Electronic Disease Surveillance System (PA-NEDSS), PA-Electronic Laboratory Reporting (PA-ELR) system.
This position is responsible for performing all roles/duties defined in the standard Architect (AR1) Job description.
In addition, specific work items for the contractor are:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works closely with the Applications Developer Administrator (ADA) to reestablish and a change control board for planning and prioritizing ongoing technical work impacting multiple program areas within DOH.
- Works closely with the ADA to triage incoming requests and assign work based on resource bandwidth, LOE, and prioritization.
- Works closely with the ADA in planning and preparing request for change (RFC) documentation submitted through Service Now and presented to the HHSDC Change Control Board.
- Works closely with HHSDC Project Managers assigned to new software development projects that are closely monitored by HHSDC Executive Management and reported on in Daptiv.
- Schedules, manages, and coordinates releases across multiple applications and technical teams within the HHSDC.
- Maintains a release calendar for various projects to provide an accurate and centralized view of all.
- Continuously monitors projects and provides ongoing progress reports.
- Creates release playbooks and coordinates release planning with multiple technical teams with the HHSDC.
- Monitors the release process and collects feedback form the different teams and program area staff for review with the ADA.
