Net Full Stack Developer

Job Summary: 
.NET Full Stack Developer: Under general direction, the contractor will design, develop, and implement technology to drive customer and business initiatives.  The role is responsible for developing, leveraging and incorporating new technology into the GetGo business.  Key responsibilities include development of internal and external systems, integrations of third-party hardware and software systems, and creating analytics/reporting platforms to satisfy stakeholders.  The contractor should be interested in embracing a wide variety of technologies to improve customer and business efficiency. The ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly provide high quality solutions based on incomplete business requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test technologies to improve customer experience, efficiency, and to meet business requirements
• Develop solutions, tools, and integrations to leverage current technologies and third-party systems and hardware
• Produce accurate and timely metrics and reports to determine viability of new technology
• Ability to quickly analyze and communicate issues and impact
• Maintain cognizance of industry trends and new products to evaluate opportunities for achieving maximum effective usage of company’s investment in Information Technology
• Recommend and implement technology and process improvements to increase efficiency
• Prevent unauthorized access to information, assets or restricted areas and report any attempts, follow / implement current security standards and protocols
• Report any type of problems to the appropriate management in a timely manner
• Participate in both daylight and off-hour support rotation
• Assist in special projects as assigned, other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Training Required

·       Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems / Computer Science

Experience Required

·       5+ years’ experience as a software engineer / programmer / developer

Experience Desired

·         Proficient in C# .NET Framework and C# .NET Core

·         Experience with popular web application frameworks

·         Knowledge of RESTful web services and API development

·         Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL or PostgreSQL

·         Understanding of software development principles and methodologies

·         Proficiency in writing unit tests with xUnit and Moq

·         Agile development / tools (Jira, etc)

·         XML, XSLT, or NAXML

·         DevOps / Azure

·         Microservices

·         Understanding of basic networking concepts

·         Java knowledge is a plus but not required
