Net Programmer

The Applications Systems Analyst/Programmer - works in an agency IT division, performing application systems analysis and programming duties.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Confer with department management for planning and organizing activities.
• Collaborate with the user community for research and analysis to define system requirements.
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations.
• Prepare project feasibility studies, formulate system scope, project cost, time estimates, and human resource requirements.
• Assist, direct, train, and coordinate the work of less experienced developers.
• Function as Team and/or Project lead.
• Provide documentation for new or modified information systems and/or application software programs.
• Prepare specifications, conduct system test planning, design, code, and debug new or modified application software programs.
• Monitor application software systems for proper execution and performance.
