NetSuite Financial Developer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with finance and IT teams to gather and understand business requirements related to financial processes.
● Design and develop SuiteScript customizations, workflows, and integrations to automate tasks, improve reporting, and streamline financial processes.
● Configure and maintain financial modules within NetSuite, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory.
● Develop and implement data integrations with other systems, such as banks, payment processors, and ERP systems.
● Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of customizations.
● Document all customizations and maintain clear and concise documentation.
● Stay up-to-date on the latest NetSuite features and best practices.
● Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the NetSuite financial module.
● Assist with NetSuite upgrades and migrations.
 
Experience:
● Minimum 5 years of experience developing and customising cloud-based ERP systems.
● Must have recent experience in NetSuite financials.
 
Skills:
● Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial best practices.
● Proficient in Suite Script, JavaScript, and HTML.
● Experience with XML, REST APIs, and data integration tools is a plus.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
