Network Administrator (Fortinet, Aruba exp)

Description

 

• Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls and other networking hardware.
• Manage and maintain the company's IT network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance to ensure network performance, availability, security, and to identify and resolve issues.
• Oversee the installation of new hardware or software.
• Perform regular system updates and security patches to maintain a secure and reliable network.
• Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve network-related user concerns effectively.
• Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and guides for other support staff.
  
   

Required Skills And Abilities

 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years' experience in a Network Administration role.
• Experience configuring and maintaining firewalls, Fortinet preferred.
• Experience configuring and maintaining switches, Client Aruba experience preferred.
• Experience configuring and maintaining wireless access points, Client Aruba experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and security best practices.
• Excellent Communication skills along with the ability to work independently and as a team.
• Excellent Problem-solving skills.
• Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
• Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity and coordination.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility.
