Job Responsibilities
- Assists with the daily administration of a network/server environment.
- Monitors network performance and performs testing to provide diagnosis of issues and to assist with deployment of solutions.
- Performs routine updates and maintenance tasks. May be responsible for tracking the parts inventory and maintenance of documentation.
- Emphasis is on learning the key aspects of the job to be performed and supporting more senior administrators.
- Typically reports to supervisor or manager.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, 6 - 9 years
- Experienced IT professional with 3+ years overall experience and minimum of 3 years as a Network Engineer.
- Experience in the design and delivery of customer-facing presentations (2 years minimum)
- Experience configuring and/or administering firewalls (Palo Alto preferred) (2 years minimum)
- Experience with Cisco Data Center Technologies including: N7K, N9K, and N2k (1 year minimum)
- Experience interpreting and implementing Network designs in both Greenfield and Brownfield deployments
- Cisco CCNP or greater in Route/Switch preferred Engineering level experience in 2 of the following: Routing & Switching, Virtualization, Security, Storage, or Voice.
- Knowledge of IP network protocols including BGP and OSPF Network security experience with IPSEC, VPN, SSL VPN, Data Acceleration and optimization Proficiency in MLPS, MPLS VPN, WLAN, and VRF-Lite
- Proficiency in Firewall configuration and rule creation
- Proficiency in VoIP technologies
- Ability to create migration plans with minimal disruption to existing network
- Solid written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills
