Network Analyst / Engineer

Summary

 

• We are seeking a Network Engineer/Analyst who can adept different technologies. The consultant should have extensive experience with one or more of the technologies of Extreme, HP-Aruba, Juniper Networks and Cisco Systems to support our staff & students.
• There are about 150 work locations with MSCS. All worksites are within 30-mile radius within city of Memphis.
• This is an on-site position with travel to worksite as needed.
• Travel to more than one location in a day is possible.
• The candidate must have reliable transportation.
  
   

Responsibilities:

 

• 3 years 's experience in the design, build, deploy at the Enterprise Level. Network troubleshooting and monitoring for each of the technologies below. Support a Juniper Mist environment. This includes routers, firewalls, security, WLAN.
• Conducting site surveys for instillation and wireless assessments
• Conduct predictive wireless assessments and deployments.
• Perform installation, maintenance, and upgrade of network equipment.
• Implement and support a secure network for an enterprise-wide wired and wireless infrastructure.
• Monitor system for trouble areas and proactively resolve and document root cause.
• Performing site installs, maintenance, upgrades, or software enhancements to support the network infrastructure needs.
• Engage with manufacturer technical support centres to quickly resolve issues as they arise as necessary.
• Design, test and implement new Wi-Fi deployments and upgrades to existing infrastructure.
  
   

Experience:

 

• 5+ years of Enterprises WAN/LAN/WLAN experience and high-density deployments.
• 5+ years of one or more of Extreme, HP-Aruba, Cisco Meraki, and Juniper Network devices configuration experience. Juniper experience is highly preferred.
