Position:             Network and Communications Systems Analyst
Work Location: Virginia - Hybrid

Fulltime
Clearance:       US Citizens with Active TS/SCI  

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Communications Systems Analyst to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical analyses, assessments, and recommendations for network and communications systems. This role involves supporting portfolio management and acquisition decisions related to user segments, mission management, and ground infrastructure. The successful candidate will produce written deliverables, such as documents and briefings, of sufficient quality for decision-making by the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment.

Key Responsibilities:-

Expertise with DoD PPBE System (2+ years required but 10 years preferred),
Working with/on OSD, Joint Staff, or Service level staff
Technical Analysis and Assessment: Conduct technical analyses and assessments for assigned systems to support portfolio management and acquisition decisions. Provide recommendations for Integrated Acquisition Portfolio Reviews (IAPRs) and Competitive Advantage Pathfinders.
Cost, Schedule, Performance, and Supportability Assessment: Evaluate the cost, schedule, performance, and supportability of network and communications systems and portfolios. Report the status of each to DASD(SSIPM) Leadership.
Expert Technical Advice: Offer expert technical advice and assistance on joint service, allied, and coalition network and communication programs and architectures.
Support for Data Discovery and Information Sharing: Assist in data discovery, technical exchanges, and information sharing to enhance the acquisition, technical, and portfolio management oversight of networks and communication systems.
Defense Acquisition System Support: Support all elements of the Defense Acquisition System (DAS), including the Joint Requirements Oversight Council and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process for network and communications capabilities.
Research and Documentation: Research existing DoD policies, instructions, directives, and other issuances related to acquisition and enterprise management functions of DoD communications and networks. Prepare written deliverables for decision-making purposes.
Interoperability Assessment: Assess interoperability, integration, design, systems engineering, cyber resiliency, and performance capabilities of network and communications systems.
Technical Studies and Analysis: Conduct technical studies and analysis related to DoD tactical data links, including capability improvements and potential additions to existing systems.
Engagement with Governance Structures: Engage with supported governance structures as assigned, including the DMAG, JROC, DAB, and others as necessary.
Support for Special Access Program (SAP) Activities: Counsel, participate in, and support special access program (SAP) activities as tasked, including portfolio management.
