About the Role:

Job Title: Network Architect IV

Responsibilities:

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Researches, designs, implements proof-of-concepts, monitors and enhances systems.

Represent business interests in a wide variety of settings and relationships including company management, business partners, and equipment vendors.

Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.

Manage resource allocation and workload; use the SAFe Agile principals to manage work; work closely with the Technology leadership team, internal stakeholders and other cross functional team to prioritize work

Tests and reviews system designs.

Provides Engineering Technical support and guidance to partner teams and ensure all technical integration, changes, standards and documentation are met.

Mentors and guides the work of technical staff.

Develop architecture requirements for HFC DAA, DOCSIS, PON, Mobile, and Wi-Fi Networks.

Develop architecture requirements for the support of data offload of wireless traffic onto the DOCSIS network.

Adheres to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.

Knows, understands and follows company policy.

Performs other duties as requested by manager.

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in Network Engineering/Architecture

Minimum 5 years of DOCSIS experience

System architecture and testing knowledge of various access technologies including HFC DAA, DOCSIS, PON, Mobile, and Wi-Fi.

Background in networking principles and protocol stacks.

Ability to perform duties in a very fast pace environment and ability to learn new technology quickly
