Network & End User Support

Job Description:

• The consultant’s main responsibilities will consist of the following projects:
• Desktop/Laptop Windows Version Upgrade project
• Ensure the monthly security patches and critical patches are deployed to all workstations and laptops
• End-user PC improvement project
• Assist in the deployment of Windows 10 to new workstations and the hands-on installation and/or migration
• IT Hardware Asset-PC write-off project
• Assist in PC parts removal and inventory
• Assist in organizing blacklist and\or whitelist across platforms
• PC cross-platform management project
• Assist in PC software installation, connection and version control

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree or above, IT related preferred;
• The consultant should have a strong understanding of Windows computers and how they operate.
• The consultant should have experience with installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, and peripherals (printers and scanners).
• The consultant should also be organized, detail oriented and have basic troubleshooting skills during work.
• Meanwhile, it is highly required to have communication skills and ability to guide non-technical users with step-by-step solutions to resolve an issue.
• Other skills required of the consultant are proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Windows 10 Enterprise environment.
• Optional skills include but are not limited to, familiarity with Avamar, Cisco Jabber, Ivanti’s LANDESK and MobileIron, Trellix, and Symantec.
• It is also preferred of the consultant to have basic language proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) but it is not required
