About the Role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support our Data Center migration to a new operating model. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, installing, maintaining, and supporting our enterprise network infrastructure. You will work on integrating, consolidating, and maintaining network services, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices. You will also be involved in the design, implementation, and validation of network solutions, ensuring they align with our latest architectural standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement LAN/WAN/Data Center solutions for large enterprise environments.
- Configure and manage IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, Static) and implement DDoS mitigation strategies.
- Support and maintain Cisco Nexus and/or Arista network platforms.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting network and system applications.
- Execute network migrations during approved change windows (non-business hours).
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Network Engineering or equivalent, demonstrated through work, military experience, or education.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing LAN/WAN/Data Center solutions.
- Strong understanding of IP routing protocols and DDoS mitigation strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and/or Arista platforms.
Desired Qualifications:
- CCNA, CCNP/DP, or CCIE Certification in Data Center preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or 3+ years of relevant Networking experience.
- Experience creating and updating technical design documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Atlassian Jira.
- Experience with change control processes using ServiceNow.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Visio Professional.
- Scripting experience with YAML, Python, Ansible, and GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent documentation, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
