About the Role:

Location: Charlotte, NC (2-3 days onsite)

MUST HAVES:

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering
• Troubleshooting experience with Cisco 7k & 9k
• Juniper and/or Nokia troubleshooting experience
• Experience supporting enterprise environments
• Jira experience
• Great time management skills

PLUSSES:

• Experience working for another Service Provider
• Project management skillset
• Experience working in Salesforce
• CCNA/CCNP/other certifications

DAY-TO-DAY

This resource will be supporting the enterprise environment on the service provider network engineering team. Participating in Method of Procedure meetings and working within jira, salesforce and remedy to troubleshoot ongoing project issues as well as taking tickets from the cue. This role consists of a lot of hands on work; they will be working on a team of 13 resources and closely collaborating with 2 other teams in the same space. The work day will start at 9am but, engineers will be able to create their own schedule based off of their work load for the week. Maintenance window happens nightly from midnight to 6am EST and engineers may need to be on call during that time. Daily tasks will include:

• Participating in MoP meetings
• Writing out steps and collaborating with other engineers
• Peer reviews
• Taking tickets from the cue
• Working with other engineers on more complex issues
• Overall support for Enterprise network
