Description

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Design, implementation, Migration and maintenance of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Group Policy, Clustering, Terminal Services, LDAP and windows scripting/automation
  • Assist the regional manager in partaking in infrastructure projects data center moves, offshoring applications
  • Drive improvement and compliance across Windows server technologies
  • Provides Level 3 infrastructure support
  • Executes all or a majority of project tasks for systems and applications with minimal integration points for existing technologies/processes
  • Executes systems management to ensure optimal current and future efficiency and functionality
  • Assess project requirements and provides design input
  • Executes upgrades, migrations, optimizations, new implementations and identifies and resolves efficiency issues
  • Writes scripts, templates, interfaces and utility applications to continuously improve functionality
  • Executes design and deploy activities for operating environments.

 

Qualifications

  • Pragmatic and methodical
  • Expertise with Microsoft Windows system support is required
  • Must have an expert level in Windows Server fundamentals and design principles, experience tuning, troubleshooting, optimization, and capacity planning
  • Basic project management fundamentals, strong technical abilities, quick study of new technology via on the job and vendor-based training
  • Backup monitoring remediation
  • This position requires a varying amount of domestic travel with overnight stays
