Network Engineer

Must Haves:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Engineering with strong focus on Meraki switches and access points
• Must have extensive experience with Cisco Meraki Network Equipment
• Proven expertise in network security and a solid understanding of security protocols and best practices.
• Meraki certifications (e.g., Cisco Meraki CMNO or CMNA) are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP) are a plus.
• Will be responsible for administering / architecture of the Meraki devices; reconfiguring of Meraki devices, need to be able to login to Meraki devices and configure; hands-on keyboard
• Experience with Asset Identification - physically inspect equipment, create inventory of where equipment resides, status/info on equipment, build out the inventory, etc.
• Experience with Network Discovery
• Experience with Physical Security - lock down equipment, know the physical access / Port Security / open port where they can plug into, etc.
• Experience with WatchGuard Firewall / Firewall Configuration Management - need to check all devices meet the network requirement, look at sources of traffic, etc.
• Experience with Segmentation isolation, Traffic Monitoring, understand the requirement; putting Firewall rules, sending analysis to Firewall Log / Log Aggregator, configuring on the backend, etc.; can't miss anything
