Network Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled L2 Network Engineer to join our team for a short-term project focused on supporting and configuring network infrastructure in a data center environment. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with network switches, firewalls, and protocols, alongside strong configuration and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and troubleshoot network switches, firewalls, VLANs, and subnets to ensure optimal network performance.
Manage and configure devices using SSH console access.
Maintain and update network configurations in the data center environment.
Diagnose and resolve network-related issues (L2 level), ensuring minimal downtime.
Assist in managing network protocols and configurations to meet business requirements.
Document network changes and configurations, including maintaining basic reports using MS Excel.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven knowledge of L2-level networking concepts.
Hands-on experience with network protocols, switches, firewalls, and configuration.
VLAN and subnetting configuration and troubleshooting experience.
Proficiency in using SSH console for device configuration.
Familiarity with data center environments and network management.
Basic proficiency in MS Excel for documenting and reporting.
