Network Engineer

Zirlen Technologies Inc seeks Network Engineer for Houston, TX office to monitor, manage, and administer regionally dispersed networks, network management, security, or other network related activities. Provide support, analysis, and remediation for storage systems and security infrastructure. Ensure adequate design, capacity options, redundancy, and overall end-to-end system responsiveness. Perform backups of all configurations. Responsible for supporting all network infrastructure, including but not limited to switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, etc. Oversees proactive network grooming, life cycle management, upgrades, bandwidth capacity management, and high priority incident, change, and problem management. Manages highly visible/risky changes and ensures network infrastructure is running efficiently. Design and implement a routing scheme utilizing OSPF to allow them to route during the transition between locations over IPSEC/GRE tunnels. Expertise in cloud administration (Networking, Security, Integration, Application and Data) like Azure/AWS/GCP and Platform Services.

May travel and relocate to various unanticipated sites throughout the US. Must have Master’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Systems, Network Administration, Information Systems, or related field and 3 years of experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Systems, Network Administration, Information Systems, or related field and 5 years of experience.
