Network Engineer

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible to provide strategic planning, innovative solutions and advanced technical knowledge to design, implement and support enterprise voice, video and data services that align with the Company's business and IT objectives. This position will provide hands-on technical leadership and will manage simple and enterprise-wide projects from initiation to completion for the voice, video and data infrastructure, complex engineering environments. The Senior Network Engineer will partner with leaders in other business unit/operational areas to define requirements and develop architecture for scalable and reliable network infrastructure to meet present and future business needs.

Top Skills & Years of Experience:

• Cisco Route/Switch - 5 Years minimum
• Cloud Networking - Azure preferred - 5 years
• Palo Alto Firewall - 3 years
• Cisco Wireless - 3 years
• CCNA or Comptia N+ -required
• CCNP Preferred but not required.
• Associates Degree Preferred
• Palo Alto experience. Cisco 9K Wireless. VOIP experience a plus. Cisco Client and Cisco Prime DNAC. Ekahau experience.
• Python experience a Plus. Solarwinds understanding a huge plus
• We need someone experienced in Azure cloud, we are building the network framework and need it finalized.

Nice to Have Skills:
We need an individual that is very self-driven to find and do the work required to move both our internal and cloud network forward.

Duration of contract: Until 12/31/24
Additional details: On-Call is required, but its minimal, once a month for a week, with 1-2 calls maybe. On call time will not be paid for this position.
