Network Engineer

Job Description

"Network Engineer (Network DATA)/Technician: Ability to apply the following skills at a defined level of proficiency required for the role

 

• Strong understanding of OT infrastructures, especially Networking, Mesh networks, RF networks
• System analysis and integration.
• Orchestrate documentation of procedures, standards and activities.
• Information processing principles, methods and procedures
• knowledge of Cisco / Wireless Mesh architectures
• Propose workable solutions and improvements.
• Perform standard system installations with minimal supervision.
• Operate a variety of related Server, Software, LAN, and WAN equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software, hardware and network problems.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Ability to effectively use judgment
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS.
• Self-starter that requires minimal supervision and can provide oversight for any assigned projects
• Development of IT VISIO diagrams/drawings.
• Experience in Wireless Networks such as but not limited to: Mesh, Point-to-Point, and Point-to-Multipoint.
• Good understanding in CCTV Cameras.
• Knowledge of Fiber such as: Layout, uses, different types etc.
• Research and development capabilities
• Strong coordinating skills and some project management experience"
