Job summary:
We are seeking a Network Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in advanced Cisco network technologies. This role is pivotal in enhancing our geospatial mapping capabilities, leveraging Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN, Meraki MX Firewalls, and other Cisco networking solutions to drive innovative projects and ensure robust, secure network infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of geospatial mapping solutions using Cisco networking technologies.
Ensure the seamless integration of Cisco Meraki MX Firewalls and SD-WAN solutions into our existing network infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and map out networking requirements for geospatial projects.
Conduct thorough network analysis and optimization to support high-volume geospatial data processing.
Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki wired and wireless networks, ensuring high availability and performance.
Develop and implement security policies using Cisco Umbrella to protect geospatial data.
Optimize cloud network configurations for geospatial applications, focusing on Cisco Meraki solutions.
Provide expert guidance on switching and routing protocols, enhancing network efficiency and reliability.
Stay abreast of the latest in wireless networking technologies, particularly those related to Cisco, to support geospatial data collection and analysis.
Document network designs, configurations, and operational manuals for geospatial projects.

Qualifications:
Proven experience with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN, Cisco Meraki MX Firewalls, and other Cisco networking solutions is mandatory.
Strong understanding of cloud networks, particularly Cisco Meraki, and their application in geospatial projects.
Knowledge of switching and routing Cisco networks, with a focus on optimizing geospatial data flow.
Experience in wireless networking, especially Cisco technologies, to support extensive geospatial data collection.
Familiarity with Cisco ACI SDN and Cisco Viptela is a nice to have, offering an edge in network design and implementation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms
