Network Engineer

Required Skills

- This position requires a bachelors degree and 10-12 years of experience in IT Network Operations Support. (4 additional years can supplement the degree)
- Certification is required in either Palo Alto or Networking in general (Palo Alto strongly preferred).
- Position requires experience with Cisco Network technology: LAN, WAN, SAN, switches, and routers. Candidate needs experience managing, troubleshooting hardware/software problems. Experience managing circuit procurement and management with large Telecom provides. Requires experience managing cloud network connectivity. Implementation and management of SD-WAN. Experience using network monitoring tools i.e. Solarwinds, Appneta, DataDog, Dynatrace, etc.
- Position requires deep knowledge and -hands-on- experience with the various Palo Alto firewall platforms. This includes the Palo Alto Panorama and Prisma platforms.Position requires substantial knowledge of F5 Load Balancers
- Position requires basic operational knowledge of both AWS and Azure Cloud Platforms
- Proven ability to organize and manage multiple projects and to deliver projects on time and on budget. Requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required with multiple infrastructure groups. Candidate should have excellent analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Extensive office productivity software skills including Microsoft office software such as Word, EXCEL, Visio and PowerPoint.
