Network Engineer

Job Description:

• This is a Network Engineering position with focus on routing and switching. The Network Engineer will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of technical management and operational practices to develop the technical strategy used to maintain network globally. The candidate will collaborate with software and teams, infrastructure operations, architecture, reliability teams and vendors to define, build, and automate the future solutions. This will enable faster, scalable deployment and management, globally. Providing support in developing the standards, metrics, and validate new solutions required to support our sophisticated ecosystems of manufacturing, mobile devices, end user equipment, and workstations.

How will you get there?
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or other technical field is desired, though 5+ years of direct and applicable professional experience in configuring, deploying, running and fixing routers and switches in an enterprise environment will be considered for a substitution.
• Consistent record with configuring, deploying, handling, and solving issues on network devices in a major corporate environment.
• Excellent knowledge of IT general practices and methods with specialised knowledge in multiple technical disciplines such as, cloud, telecommunications, network & automation.
• 3-5 years practical meaningful experience in large-scale networking engineering and operations.
• Sophisticated knowledge of WAN routing (BGP), traffic engineering, QoS, telemetry, and segmentation
• Good level of understanding of dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
• Experience with Load Balancers, Firewalls, WAN Optimization, and/or VPN Concentrators is a plus
• Demonstrate experience with networking technologies within large enterprise networks
• Detailed knowledge of Cisco, Arista or similar routing and switching platform.
• Hands on experience with Fortinet, Pulse Secure & F5 products and services is considered as a plus
• Good knowledge of Networking and Wireless standards.
• Experience with Cisco & Meraki wireless solutions.
• Understanding and knowledge of network segmentation.
• Experience with SD-WAN management & solving issues is an extra
