Network Engineer

Job Description: Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled Junior to Mid-Level Network Engineer to join their dynamic IT team. This role is ideal for someone w/ hands-on experience in managing F5 load balancer appliances in both on-premises and cloud environments. A successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the existing network infrastructure, ensuring robust and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Manage and support F5 LTM/APM configurations in on-prem and cloud setups.
•    Perform routine troubleshooting, upgrading, and patching of F5 load balancer appliances.
•    Assist in AWS network setup and troubleshooting tasks.
•    Support on-premises network operations involving Cisco/Meraki core, datacenter, and access switches.
•    Manage and maintain on-prem/AWS Palo Alto firewalls.
•    Configure and troubleshoot Aruba/Meraki wireless access points.
•    Utilize SolarWinds for network monitoring and performance assessment.
•    Handle Workspace ONE mobile device management.
•    Support the Zoom meeting and phone platforms.

Qualifications:
•    Proven experience in managing F5 load balancer appliances.
•    Familiarity w/ AWS networking and cloud-based solutions.
•    Experience in managing Cisco/Meraki and Palo Alto networking equipment.
•    Knowledge of wireless networks, particularly Aruba and Meraki access points.
•    Proficiency in network monitoring tools, preferably SolarWinds.
•    Experience w/ mobile device management, ideally Workspace ONE.
•    Familiarity w/ Zoom communication platforms is a plus.
•    Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
